My 11 Random Things

Hi Guys!

I noticed the 11 Random Things posts going around a few months ago and I thought it would be a fun way to introduce myself and get to know you!  Here are my answers to some of the questions I came across:

1.   If you were doing a destination wedding, where would it be? I would love to get married in New York City. I’d have the ceremony in Central Park in the fall, and the reception at a rooftop location with a great view of the city… not that I’ve given it much thought ;)
2.   What’s your favorite pizza topping? Pineapple. The sweetness of the pineapple + the saltiness of the cheese = yummy!
3.   What was your favorite subject in high school? English. I’ve always loved reading so I never really considered it "homework".
4.   What’s your favorite dessert? Ice cream.
5.   If you had to live in another country for a year, where would you live? Germany. I spent a semester there and would have stayed forever if I could have.
6.   If you had to live in one season for the rest of your life, which season would it be? Fall. I love all the colors and walking through crunchy leaves.
7.   What is your favorite breakfast food? I tend to go through food phases. Right now its cream of wheat made with almond milk and topped with blueberries.
8.   Runners: what’s your dream race? Non-runners: what’s your fitness dream? I’d love to run the Three Countries Marathon that goes through Austria, Germany and Switzerland, but I don’t know that a marathon is in my future… The Disney Princess Half looks like it would be a lot of fun so I’m thinking of doing that one next year :)
9.   The last song you listened to Fix You by Coldplay. That song makes me want to cry every single time I hear it!
10. What is your favorite holiday? Christmas. I love all the preparations: shopping, baking, decorating, wrapping while watching cheesy Christmas movies, and the music :)
11. Favorite quote.  “Lust is putting someone on a pedestal. Love is helping them up when they fall.”

I’d love to hear from you guys – feel free to answer any of these questions!

  1. Hey there! I'd definitely have my destination wedding in NY too. I know I live there, but since I'm in no-mans-land, my wedding feels like a far off dream. So maybe I won't be living here then...but if I am, then Greece for sure.

Also, fall is my favorite season too. Although I'm not sure I'd enjoy it as much if I didn't just endure a sweaty, humid summer. But still, I could never get sick of those beautiful fall colors.

    1. Oh, the whole wedding thing is all just a dream for me too - I have yet to meet the groom :P But hey, we might as well dream big right? Greece would be awesome!
